Terms of use
Conditions for using tg.place. By using the site you accept them.
What this service is
tg.place is a catalog and rating of public Telegram channels, chats, bots and mini apps. We collect open data, compute Place Score from it, and show the result. We are not affiliated with Telegram Messenger Inc. and do not act on its behalf.
About the scores
Place Score is computed automatically from a published method and reflects formal signals, not content quality. It is not a recommendation, not financial advice, and not a guarantee of anything. The method may change; every score records the algorithm version behind it.
Catalog content
Titles, descriptions and avatars belong to the channel owners. We show them for reference alongside a link to the original. We store post texts in full so that search and analysis work; lists show the first 300 characters, and the full text appears only on the post page. Personal data of comment authors is not stored.
Reviews and submissions
Reviews are moderated before publication. We reject abuse, advertising, rating manipulation and text unrelated to the channel. By leaving a review you allow us to publish it. You can withdraw that permission by writing to us.
Unacceptable use
Do not inflate reviews and requests: writing reviews from several accounts, ordering them, trading ratings by arrangement, or sending advertiser requests with no intention of buying a placement. Do not work around the rate limits — switching addresses or accounts, automating form submissions, or solving the “I am not a robot” check programmatically in order to send more than the site allows. Do not harvest catalog data around the public pages: calling internal addresses not meant for outside requests, or generating load that interferes with the site.
Reading public pages automatically is not forbidden — that is what they are open for. We ask you to respect robots.txt and a reasonable request rate. For reading the catalog programmatically there is a public API — easier and preferable to parsing pages.
When these rules are broken we remove the inflated reviews and requests, restrict the account, and in severe cases delete it. We do not remove the catalog entry itself: punishing a channel for inflation it did not order would be unfair. But where inflation is evident the entry is marked “Suspected inflation”, and its Place Score is halved.
Complaints notice
If we receive complaints that a listing deceives people, we check them. Confirmed complaints are stated on the listing page in one line with a date. The listing stays in the catalog and in search: someone looking for it must find the page with the notice, not an empty result. It does leave our showcases, tops and collections. The Place Score is not changed by the notice — it measures audience, not honesty.
The owner can dispute the notice: write to us through the contact form and attach evidence. We answer within five business days and remove the notice if the complaints are not confirmed.
For channel owners
Verifying ownership gives you a dashboard, the right to reply to reviews as the channel, and a way to dispute a specific figure. A channel is unpublished at your request. Hiding only the score while keeping the page is not possible.
Advertising
Paid placements are labelled “Ad” and affect neither the Place Score calculation nor organic results. Terms and prices are agreed separately.
Paid placements
A paid placement is one week of an entry's card running in one showcase spot: the strip on the home page, or the pinned spot in the entry's own category. A week runs Monday through Sunday, both days included. Only the verified owner of an entry can buy a placement for it.
Payment changes nothing about the Place Score or the order of entries in the catalog. The score follows the method published on the Methodology page, and there is no paid multiplier in it. Paid cards run in a separate strip labelled Advertising and are never mixed into the ranking.
Payment is accepted in USDT through CryptoBot. Once you pick a week, an invoice is issued and the spot is held for you for 30 minutes. An unpaid invoice releases the week, and it can be bought again.
The card goes live on the first day of the week you paid for and comes down after the last one, both days included. Impressions and clicks are counted in the visitor's browser and shown in your dashboard. Ad blockers silence that count, so the number in the report is a floor, not an exact figure.
A refund is made minus a withholding — currently 10% of the amount returned; the rate in force is always shown on screen before payment. If a placement is taken down before the paid period ends, we return the share for the unused days: the weekly price is divided by seven, multiplied by the days left, and the same share is withheld from the result. The day of the takedown counts as used. The decision and its reason are recorded, and the amount is shown on the order receipt.
We may take a placement down before its run ends if the entry stops meeting the catalog's rules: it is unpublished, flagged as unreliable, or breaches the Unacceptable use section. The reason is recorded and sent to the owner.
Settlement through the platform
The exchange is temporarily unavailable.
On the ad exchange settlement goes through the platform. The advertiser pays from their cabinet account, we hold the sum until our collector confirms the post went out, then pass it to the channel owner less our commission. Deals opened before 20 August 2026 with direct settlement run out on their original terms.
The money is held from the moment the invoice is paid until our collector confirms the post. Until the payment arrives the deal stays in the «awaiting payment» state, and the owner sees this on their side. Held funds are not mixed with the parties' own funds and are not used by us before the payout or the refund.
Once the collector finds the post in the channel, the payout to the owner is scheduled automatically and goes out after the waiting period shown on the deal screen. The platform commission is withheld from the payout — currently 10%; the rate in force is shown on every exchange screen before you accept an offer. A dispute opened within the waiting period holds the payout until a moderator decides.
A dispute on a deal settled through the platform freezes the payout. A human decides: pay the owner, refund the advertiser, or return an amount set by the moderator. The decision and its reason are recorded.
A refund on a deal is made minus the same withholding as on the showcase — currently 10%. The moderator handling a dispute may set a different amount, including a full refund: the rule always withholds its share, a human sees the circumstances.
Payouts and refunds are sent in USDT via CryptoBot to the recipient's account. To receive a transfer the recipient must have an open chat with @CryptoBot. If there is none, the transfer stays queued and the recipient gets a message saying what to do.
