🇷🇺🇮🇩 Putin met with the President of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto in a working breakfast format on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum:
"We are meeting for the second time this year. I am very pleased about this. Our personal relationship reflects the truly strategic nature of interstate relations. I want to thank you for considering it possible to come to Vladivostok and participate as the main guest in the Eastern Economic Forum.
Indonesia is one of Russia's key partners in Southeast Asia. We are bound by ties of friendship that have lasted for many years. Trade is developing and growing. Our areas of focus include agriculture, shipbuilding, information technology, and energy, including nuclear energy. We have signed a free trade agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and Indonesia. Jakarta is our reliable, long-standing friend, and within ASEAN, we cooperate on international platforms, including the United Nations. I am convinced that today's meetings will be useful and will give new impetus to our cooperation and the development of our relations."
