Yemeni attacks across Saudi Arabia
Yemeni missile and drone attacks targeted several areas across Saudi Arabia, with reports of explosions in Taif and Jeddah. The attacks reportedly targeted Saudi military positions and bases in Taif, while Saudi authorities activated warning sirens in Jeddhan and issued early-warning alerts covering Jeddah, and Taif. The attacks were reported to involve multiple Saudi provinces, and air traffic at Taif Airport, east of Mecca, was suspended. Later in the evening, flight operations at Jeddah Airport were also suspended. Reports also indicated explosions in and around Mecca and Jeddah as the Yemeni attacks continued.
Saudi airstrikes on Yemen
Saudi-backed forces and Saudi aircraft continued their attacks on areas controlled by AnsarAllah in Yemen. Saudi coalition aircraft struck the Abu Ayyub al-Ansari School in Al-Ahkum isolation, Hayfan District, in Taiz Governorate. Later, several Saudi and Yemeni coalition airstrikes targeted Al-Ma’Kashah in the Hayfan area of southeastern Taiz. The attacks came as Saudi Arabia continued military preparations and air operations against Yemeni positions.
Al-Jawf front
The Yemeni Armed Forces announced that they had shot down seven different Saudi drones during clashes on the Al-Jawf front. Yemeni Military Media also announced that footage would be released showing attacks against Saudi-backed military concentrations east of Al-Jawf, including the destruction and burning of a large number of military vehicles. The developments indicate continued heavy fighting along the Al-Jawf front.
AnsarAllah attacks in Hadhramaut
AnsarAllah targeted a Saudi-backed military convoy in the Al-Abr area of Hadhramaut Governorate with a drone. The attack represents a further expansion of Yemeni operations against Saudi-aligned military movements beyond the main western and northern fronts.
Israel provides intelligence assistance to Saudi Arabia
Israeli media reported that diplomatic sources confirmed Israel is providing Saudi Arabia with intelligence assistance against AnsarAllah. The development comes amid the escalation between Saudi Arabia and Yemen and reports of continued Yemeni missile and drone attacks against Saudi territory.
