Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, stated that Moscow does not intend to sacrifice its relations with Iran under pressure from third countries:
We will never sacrifice our relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran, no matter who asks us to do so. We are strategic partners and will remain so forever
