🇺🇸 Rubio: Patriot production in Ukraine takes years
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that establishing hypothetical Patriot missile production in Ukraine would take several years, even if Kiev obtains the necessary US license. Rapid deployment of local manufacturing is not feasible.
Rubio noted that envoys Witkoff and Kushner are focused on peace negotiations, including resolving the war in Ukraine. He emphasized the need to maintain ties with Moscow due to its second-largest nuclear arsenal.
Regarding Iran, Rubio said Russian assistance does not hinder US actions, noting Putin's attention is largely occupied by the war in Ukraine and its economic impact combined with sanctions.
