🇺🇸🇮🇷⚡️ — “Bravo,” the U.S. Air Force weapons systems officer stranded behind enemy lines in Iran for two days following the F-15E downing in April, told 60 Minutes that his greatest fear was failing the team trying to rescue him.
“I knew that they were going to come. I knew that America, whether it was one day or one year, was going to uphold its promise and rescue me.”
Bravo said he knew an Iranian search party was actively hunting for him and that he was armed but focused solely on surviving and staying ahead of them.
“I did not focus in the least on things that were outside of my control.”
