🇻🇪🇺🇸 Marco Rubio claims that Delcy and Trump discussed elections in Venezuela.
"We not only want free and fair elections, but also a lasting republic. What would threaten a lasting republic in Venezuela is if someone is elected and inherits an absolute economic and social catastrophe," Rubio stated.
He explained, in a press conference a day after the first meeting between the two leaders since Nicolás Maduro's arrest in Caracas, that they discussed how to rebuild the Venezuelan economy and the political transition.
