Hitler’s Residence Burns Down in the Alps After Arson The former tea house of Adolf Hitler on Mount Kehlstein in Bavaria was engulfed in flames last night. The building, known as “Eagle’s Nest,” was the favorite residence of the head of the Third Reich. After the war, the tea house was converted into a mini-hotel with a restaurant. After the fire was extinguished, a 33-year-old man from Berlin was arrested at the scene. Police believe he may have set the “Eagle’s Nest” on fire, as he fled the scene and behaved erratically during his arrest. Germany has said that they will restore it…of course. They are on the same path.
