Пакистанцев в Британии 2% населения, но на них приходится ~30% всех британских детей с редкими генетическими заболеваниями. Да, большинство детей в таких браках рождаются без заболеваний, но риск в ДВА раза выше, чем в нормальных парах. У этого массового явления есть культурно-социальная основа: желание сохранить капитал в семье, стремление жить со своими в чужих обществах, где "своих" очень мало. Те же евреи в прошлом веке, будучи меньшинствами в мусульманских странах, также женились на кузинах и кузенах, ибо изобилия выбора иудеев в Ираке, Марокко и т.д. не было. Западный мир тоже баловался инцестом, особенно элита, но около 200 лет назад он понял, что ебать сестёр вредно. Надеюсь, мусульманские общины поймут это чуть быстрее. Пока что мало в какой западной стране такие браки запрещены, в мусульманских странах это в целом база, о запрете речи не идёт.
