People here talk about moving to Batumi and settling into life in Georgia: housing, visas, and the everyday practicalities of the city. Newcomers ask questions and get answers from those who already went through the adaptation process, and members trade notes on neighborhoods and small logistics that rarely make it into travel guides. As of 13 September: 31.3K members, with 3.6K online at the same time, so questions tend to get answered quickly. The group format means a topic gets picked up by several people with different experiences right away, rather than sitting as a one-off announcement. It works as a place to get oriented on the ground instead of piecing things together from scattered articles online.
