I attended the “Made in Moscow” runway show, featuring looks from more than 35 Moscow-based brands! I also stopped by the showroom, where I found many interesting pieces, from a matryoshka brooch to a handbag shaped like a jar of caviar! Russian fashion truly deserves more attention. There are so many talented designers and amazing brands here. 🖤

There is a trend going viral on X (Twitter) right now where thousands of people from different countries are saying that Russia is not their enemy. A few days ago I posted a video about how Russia does not want war with Europe and it went viral as well, with thousands supporting this message. As someone who has dealt with Russophobia my entire life, seeing this trend and people outwardly supporting Russia is truly overwhelming. There are good people out there who know the truth. Let’s be friends and say NO to those who want to divide us. Сейчас в X (Twitter) становится вирусным тренд, в котором тысячи людей из разных стран говорят о том, что Россия — не их враг. Несколько дней назад я опубликовала видео о том, что Россия не хочет войны с Европой, и оно тоже стало вирусным, тысячи людей поддержали этот посыл! Как человек, который всю жизнь сталкивался с русофобией, я действительно испытываю огромные эмоции, видя этот тренд и то, как люди открыто выражают поддержку России. «Россия собирается атаковать Европу!» — это новое «у Ирака есть оружие массового уничтожения». Европейские элиты хотят, чтобы их граждане видели в России злодея, отвлекая внимание от того, кто на самом деле является злодеем (от них самих). После публикации этого видео мне написали многие европейцы и сказали, что они не хотят войны с Россией и не считают Россию своим врагом. Это даёт мне немножко надежды. “Russia is going to invade Europe!” is the new “Iraq has weapons of mass destruction.” European elites want you to see Russia as the villain to distract from who the villain really is (them.) After posting this video, I’ve had many Europeans reach out to me and say they do not seek war with Russia, and Russia is not their enemy. This gives me a small sliver of hope.

Сегодня на этом месте стоит этот прекрасный храм, возведённый в их память. 🇷🇺 I couldn’t come to Yekaterinburg without visiting the spot where one of the darkest chapters in Russian history unfolded. The Romanov family was murdered here in 1918. Today, this beautiful church stands on the site in their memory.☦️

So many interesting discussions were held, from talking about how literature can be a bridge between cultures with the literary club, talking about the importance of truth behind social media, to discussing global trends and technology with the intelligent economist and politician Maxim Stanislavovich Oreshkin at the OD campfire.
