⭕️ OPEC on Thursday cut its forecast for global oil demand growth in 2026 to 380,000 barrels per day, according to a copy of its monthly report, marking the group’s fifth consecutive downward revision. The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) continues to expect the US-Israeli war on Iran to have a more limited impact on oil consumption than other forecasters, including the International Energy Agency, which anticipates a decline in demand in 2026. At the same time, OPEC raised its forecast for global oil demand growth in 2027, according to the report published on its website.
