🚨 Houthis capture five strategic positions in Lahj — advancing toward Aden
Ansar Allah forces have seized Dhiab, Jabal Al-Mansoura, Jabal Al-Barha, Jabal Lasbah, and Jabal Hawab in Lahij Governorate, pushing toward the Gulf of Aden.
Local reports suggest that the Fourth Military Zone failed to engage in Al-Mudariba and Ras Al-Aara, thereby disobeying directives from the front commander.
The Houthis seek to isolate Kahboub Mountain by advancing in the mountain areas of Lahj province.
Why Kahboub Mountain matters:
🔴 Capturing it would let the Houthis cut supply routes between government-held areas in Lahj and Taiz
🔴 It would consolidate their gains along the Red Sea coast
🔴 And it would put them in position to threaten roads leading to Aden — the seat of Yemen's internationally recognized government
