  Yemen: Operation “And Allah is More Severe in Power and More Severe in Punishment” [1/10/2026]: 🇾🇪 After several days of building up reinforcements, mainly brought in from the Taiz governorate, the Sana’a forces launched a powerful attack on four fronts with the aim of reducing the Taiz governorate’s salient and completely cutting off the supply routes from the Aden forces to Taiz city.   Reports that Ansarallah has captured Turbah are incorrect. The town is still some distance from the front line and the southern supply lines remain intact (the northern ones were largely rendered unusable following Ansarallah infiltrations, as they have no physical control over the road). However, should the same pressure continue on the front line, the loss of the high ground leading to the town would spell disaster for the Aden forces deployed not only in Turbah but also in Taiz city. 🇾🇪

  Yemen: Operation “And Allah is More Severe in Power and More Severe in Punishment” [30/9/2026] Pt2: 🇾🇪 Following the arrival of reinforcements and as disagreements began to arise between the PLC forces and the tribal forces, Ansarallah managed to break through the defences of the Aden forces in the north of Al-Mudarabah and take control of the strategic Jabal Hawab, which had been lost days earlier and is the highest point before the valleys of Al Malbiyah, Al-Ma’amiyah, Al-Sudair and Shaykh Hadi Qasis. Fighting has now shifted to Hassi Seif and Al-Ruways as Sana'a forces attempt to stabilise the front line from Jabal al-Jarubah to Jabal Naman. Map: [

  An explosion on a gas pipeline near Syria’s Tishrin thermal power station has taken three major stations offline: Deir Ali, Al-Nasiriya and Tishrin. 🇸🇾 This comes two days after the gas pipeline in (Shulah), Deir ez-Zor, was sabotaged, raising suspicions of further sabotage. Although it is not known who is behind these attacks, there are several possibilities: - ISIS insurgents - Arab tribes dissatisfied with the STG’s energy policy - Foreign agents (primarily Israel). However, it cannot be ruled out that the explosion was caused by poor maintenance and negligence on the part of the new Syrian authorities, at a time when the country is suffering from an acute energy shortage.
