#BREAKING | 🇸🇪 — Sweden election too close to call after tight projection Initial SVT and TV4 exit polls after polls closed showed the centre-left opposition bloc (Social Democrats, Left, Centre and Greens) ahead with 51.3% to the right-wing Tidö bloc’s 46.8%. A later SVT projection incorporating early counted districts tightened the race dramatically, putting the opposition on 175 seats and the governing parties plus Sweden Democrats on 174 — a one-seat edge. With roughly 55% of districts counted, Social Democrats lead on 27.6%, followed by Moderates (19.7%) and Sweden Democrats (17.6%). Official counting continues overnight. If the result holds, Magdalena Andersson would return as prime minister and the Sweden Democrats would remain outside government. Exit polls have been imperfect in past Swedish elections.
